Effortless Playing

Effortless, this word in the World of Guitar, as well as in any part of playing music, is a very hard concept to achieve. The regular player can't achieve effortless playing very easily; it is either because of no formal training and the humanistic tendency of going to the school of hard knocks. This DVD, which features William Kanengiser, American Classical Guitar Player, presents such lessons that will benefit any player of any style of any level of experience. Kanengiser's focus is not on the repertoire, as other DVDs present, but rather the functions of the hands and fingers into playing the guitar. The positions, exercises, and techniques presented in the DVD, which are very simple, can turn any playing into a relaxed and graceful activity. Though it is not a real replacement for a teacher, this DVD can be used to as a way of building the basic or as a supplement to regular practice. Truly effort is needed to achieve effortless.
