Award-winning product designer Robert Wilhelm has teamed up with Kingfield Wood Products, former manufacturer of Vic Firth drumsticks, to create a very natural-feeling, ergonomic drumstick that feels and looks like no other sticks on the market.
Hornets drumsticks offer an ergonomic, contoured handle and proprietary rubber o-rings designed to relieve forearm pressure and reduce shock to the wrist. Made from first quality American hickory and hard rock maple, HORNETS drumsticks fit comfortably in the hand to function as a natural extension of the drummer's arm.

These are well balanced, but slightly longer than the 7A I'm used to playing. They have a distinct place in your stick collection, but they are not very good on the rim click, not as constant as standard sticks. Also, the section where they are tapered is still kind of slick. They do not however tend to slip. Overall they are very good for most pieces.
I bought these about a month ago but I haven't really been able to use them that much, but I played live a a few days ago and these are amazing! The feel of the stick is great, and the non-vibrant grip makes the sticks even better! They make playing alot easier, and comfortable. You can't get much better than these! Theyre great sticks and worth the Money!
these sticks are amazing for everything and the rings really reduce vibration. i had them for a almost a month and there barley chipped
I have bought two pair of these sticks broke the first pair in 15 min. The second pair I used one day and they are so chewed up they are no good to use any more. Dont get me wrong they have great grip to them but there not worth my money...
these sticks are amazing. I just got them a week ago and I can already feel a difference. The rings really absorb the shock that goes up your wrist. the color hasnt chipped and the stick doesnt slip. overall a great buy!
Bought these hoping they would help with my grip as my hand tightens up near my thumb after awhile and is difficult to play. They really are comfortable and I like the balance. The rubber rings are great to do cymbal rolls and help reduce vibration but do not do as good a job as the Zildjian Anti-vibes which practically eliminates any and all vibration. My band mentioned that my drums weren't as loud with these sticks. 4 hours in and they are still in great shape and not splintering at all. I will probably order another pair.
I am an 8 year old drummer who has been playing for 5 years and performing for 3 years. I really like the design of the stick and the sound they produce. The o rings really do reduce the vibration and the contour handle is perfect for my smaller hands.
Hornets have provided the solution for a problem I was having with cramping in my right hand that started after a skiing injury. I had tried tape, but that was a mess, and I had to redo it for every pair of sticks. The contoured handle makes these easy to hold onto, even for long shows and rehearsals. The biggest problem I was having was sticks slipping out my hand or serious cramping on fast songs. No such problem with these. The rings at the end knock out any vibrations, too, and make an effective cymbal mallet. Besides all of this, they're very durable, and they look great. Highly recommended and completely worth the extra cost.
