Flexible I/O and peerless sonic quality!

Multi-mode Horizon STL-1 Stereo Line Direct Box functions as 2 separate direct boxes in stereo mode. In mono mode 2 high-impedance, unbalanced input signals can be combined into one low-impedance, balanced output mono channel to conserve channels in a snake. Also in mono mode, 2 high-impedance unbalanced signals can be combined into one low-impedance balanced signal, isolated and split into 2 separate mono output signals. Comes with 2 shunts on the input jacks to eliminate feedback noise.

Works great

this is a great buy for the money. I have not tried it in studio yet however I do use it for live sound. I typically run keyboards through in a stereo setup and it gets great sound and elimates 100% of the nasty buzz that you usually get from keyboards. also if you dont want to run it in stereo, you just flip a switch on the back and bam! you have two individual lines which really helps when your lead guitarist wants multiple guitars hooked up and ready to go at once. you simply run each guitar into a different line, make sure its set on mono and it opperates just like two seperate DI's.
