I recently got this amp at my local guitar shop. I definitely was impressed; with the price and the looks, what was not to like? I got it for when I want to go play at the beach or street perform. It's definitely good for that. It looks sweet and is very portable. However, as far as sound goes, it is mediocre at best. If you want to play with it at more than about 1/3 its maximum volume, you will start to hear that dreaded "growling" sound, even when the overdrive is off. The overdrive sounds weak and just makes the unwanted "growling" noise all the more prominent. The tone knob doesn't do much of anything. I won't comment on the range of sound--after all, it says on the box that it is built only for "vintage" sound. All I can tell you is that you should not buy this if you are looking to play a wide range of styles. However, for quiet jamming with friends or playing somewhere without an outlet, this thing is great. It looks retro (I prefer the "yellow" and "aqua" colors myself), you can take it anywhere, and you can't beat it for the price. Just think long and hard about what you want to use it for before buying it, because you will be sorely disappointed if you are looking for anything that you will want to use regularly.

So far I have only used this product for a house show but I got it to busk with. It sounds very good and is way louder than expected with is a very good thing. Definitely worth the money and optional pro coverage.

Comments about Honeytone N-10 Guitar Mini Amp:

What's great about the Honeytone amp is I can bring my guitar sound up to my singing sound and not
Overpower either sound source. My studio is in my garage. Therefore, I can crank-up my large amps and
Use a mic to project my voice. When I go in the house all I need is my Taylor guitar and honeytone amp to play anywhere inside. My wife doesn't like electric guitars, but loves the soft low tones from my honeytone!
      Very impressed with price also!

Comments about Honeytone N-10 Guitar Mini Amp:

I bought this to put on my desk to practice. It doesn't keep a solid sound, cuts in and out, and is cheap. Even when I turn it down it doesn't work, and the distortion makes it worse. My order was delayed and my shipping was refunded because their was an accident at a UPS factory, and when I opened the package, the box for the item was open.

Got it out of the box and speaker stopped working less than a hour in. Checked if it was the battery by replacing it and it wasn't. Later we decided to try the headphone jack and that worked so I guess if you just want to listen through your headphones it works but literally less than an hour out of the box and the speaker is dead.

Comments about Honeytone N-10 Guitar Mini Amp:

I bought this to give my Traveller Ultra Light some volume. It's tough to make it sound like an acoustic, but it has plenty of options to make it sound like an electric. The Traveller sounds tinny, but I connected my Taylor, and it sounds great!

It does not come with the 9v adapter. If you have problems, check the battery connection or try replacing it.

Comments about Honeytone N-10 Guitar Mini Amp:

This little unit is amazing. You can't do a lot with it besides volume, tone and gain, but sound is excellent, it's easy to connect, doesn't take up a lot of space, and you can connect it in a few seconds for quick use. Great for quick use at home or practice.
If you need more, buy a more expensive unit. You can not beat this thing for under $20.00.

Comments about Honeytone N-10 Guitar Mini Amp:

Surprisingly loud for an amp its size. Sounds are okay, except maybe for the distortion which can get a little too noisy, the sounds come out meh when it's on full volume. Also, there's a teeny tiny issue with the thing where you attach the battery to. It can get a little loose, resulting in some on and off and on again then off again issue, but it can easily be fixed. Overall though it's all good.

This little fellow was a pleasent surprise! I wasn't expecting that much from this little Amp. I bought it for my electric guitars, however a couple of times it have saved outdoor accoustic sessions for me!

The drawback is that it consumes a lot of batteries.
