Great harps

These harps are the best ones i think for begginers next to the hohner special 20.It is very easy to bend the notes and it can carry an excellent melody

Ok, these harps have a few good things going for them. I think it only fair to list them first. Then we will get on to why I would NOT buy these again and what I would do knowing what I know now. The first nice point about these harps is obviously their price point. Who doesnt want a decent couple of harps for less than 30 dollars? They also come in a handy little padded case that keeps them fairly protected. I also LOVE the swooped up grip on the back side. Maybe its just me but I get a good grip on them. They also have a fair tone. Ok, now the bad. The case AND the harps smell/taste aweful. After you blow/draw in one you will understand what I mean. They are very cheap materials so life expectancy is short, I assume. Also, the notes dont all sound. Had I know all this I would have bought another lee oscar or a special twenty or even a bluesman. Invest in something that will last you a little while or try these if you just want a toy.

Comments about Hohner Hoodoo Blues Harmonica 3-Pack with Case:

Ok..... 2015 sucked.... a lot of personal challenges interfered with my stage work... And.... of course that means 0 dollars to invest in new Harmonicas. Over the years, I have never strayed from Lee Oscars and the best Hohners... but I got sucked into the reviews for this incredibly, unbleievably low priced set... I admit it, I wasn't thinking straight. These plastic harmonicas have exactly what you would expect from plastic harmonicas, PLASTIC TONE. I was so dissapointed, I felt like a clown. Guitar Center rejected all my pleas for a remedy. I cannot believe Hohner makes these.... to make it worse; I had also bought another unbleievably low priced set; BLUE ICE.... basically the same thing... so. I am warning you.... If you buy these, and if you CAN PLAY DECENT HARMONICA, you will be disgusted that you fell for the price or the goofy positive reviews. How much further can I take this? I finally woke up and realized I need NOT be at the mercy of how Guitar Center replied in 2015....If anyone at Guitar Center notices this review, or my copied version to customer service, they will figure out a way to restore me as a trusting customer. A decade agao, I had an investor who purchased 85 grand in gear at Guitar Center... FACT... The only thing we forgot was a few dozen Lee Oscars in my song keys... anyway, I am almost ready to try Guitar Center again...this time it's LEE OSCAR all the way...since I cannot figure out what happened to HOHNER... You know, I recently heard a story about Lee Oscar calling a customer who somehow got a harp that played less than 100%... Lee called IN PERSON after reading a review like this, and he promised to send a FREE replacement immediately... So...there is hope.... Meanwhile, I wonder about Guitar Center...they should eliminate ALL these CHEAP HOHNERS.... eliminate ALL of them... here's reality; If you play professional gigs, you have to play professional quality gear... I time travel back and tell myself this. Guitar Center wake up!

Their question was "How I use this product the Hohner Hoodoo Blues Harmonica 3-Pack with Case ?"
          I do NOT.

The body housing of these Harps are made of Black Plastic and they stick to your lips. there is absolutely NO Fluidity to the playing off these Harmonicas.

If you buy these you should buy Vaseline to grease your lips to play these very poor quality Harps.
Worst Harps I have ever played and or owned.

I suggest you Spend more money and get the Hohner Harmonicas that have metal body housings and then you will NOT go wrong.

Comments about Hohner Hoodoo Blues Harmonica 3-Pack with Case:

Bought this set knowing that they were low end, and really didn't expect too much. Gladly, I was impressed with what arrived. Yes, they are plastic, but there are 3. Great to have around the office or to carry around for fun. The case isn't bad. If I ever decided to go a bit more expensive, It would be worth the money right there. Haven't played them all for much time, but for the limited playing, the C and G harps seem to be in tune. Spacing is great and (due the plastic) quite low weight. Bending is easy and I've yet to get the dying vulture sound when going from note to note. I'd say I'm satisfied.

Comments about Hohner Hoodoo Blues Harmonica 3-Pack with Case:

Nice case and great to have alternate keys around, low and highs are alittle stiff, but I'm going to do a little adjusting as seen on U-Tube, cheap enough if I mess one up I'm still learning.

Comments about Hohner Hoodoo Blues Harmonica 3-Pack with Case:

I bought this set of harmonicas like a month ago. I've actually played two shows with them, and they've proven very reliable. People on here complained about them not being loud enough, but mine seem great. My playing since I have started has increased a lot. I even carry them in my car to play while I drive. For 10 bucks (that's 3.33 a harmonica) you can literally throw them away if you're not satisfied. BUY THESE. They're awesome.

Not the best , but a good starter set...

Comments about Hohner Hoodoo Blues Harmonica 3-Pack with Case:

The harmonicas themselves sound pretty good. With a microphone and an amp they work great with a band , but are kind of quiet on their own. They won't hold up to much hard playing , but are great to get started blowin' the blues. Here's the downside , they do taste a little like plastic , and although advertised as in stock , I had to wait almost 3 weeks for mine to ship because they were out of stock. Good deal for the price and as they wear out the case is great for keeping your new harps safe down the road.

Comments about Hohner Hoodoo Blues Harmonica 3-Pack with Case:

So I should have done a little more research on these before thinking I found a great deal. These harmonicas are terrible, even I can tell this and I just started learning, its hard to hit notes, they are cheaply constructed, and I don't know if it was just me but I think they had some chemicals on them because when I started playing them it really irritated my throat.
