About Hohner:
Hohner is a family company founded in 1857 in Trossingen, Germany by Matthias Hohner. Hand-made quality and close attention to detail has set Hohner apart from the beginning. Hohner harmonicas are played on the street by buskers, in intimate nightclubs, on festival stages, and even in Carnegie Hall. Despite a diverse harmonica line used in music from country to classical genres, the most famous Hohner harmonicas are their simple, 10-hole diatonics used frequently by blues, rock, country, and folk musicians.

Comments about Hohner Blues Band Harmonica Value Pack:

Seems to play OK. Need to practice. Good value. Perhaps upgrade later once I find out the limitations of the Blues Band vs. the higher-end products.

Comments about Hohner Blues Band Harmonica Value Pack:

I always wanted to learn how to play the harp, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money in case it was something that I just utterly sucked at or didn't like. After looking at different reviews, they all seemed to point me to this brand as a good tool for learning, and they were right.

    Starter Kit

Comments about Hohner Blues Band Harmonica Value Pack:

This product is exactly what it says. If you want to learn a little bit about harmonicas, this is a great way to start but you will most likely find yourself wanting more. Unless you're doing pretty complicated things, harmonicas can be pretty easy. After about a week of playing, I wanted something better. The G and A weren't even close to being in tune either, which really throws off the playing as you can imagine. I'd recommend just the C, which is usually in tune, learn to play, and then upgrade to a higher quality.
