Comments about Hohner 455 Echo Celeste Tremolo Harmonica:

I have all the keys of the Hohner Echo Celeste. I play in a number of groups, from church praise teams to string groups that I accompany. These are very true to the keys they are made in.

    Disappointed

    By Stanley McHugh

    from Bellaire, Texas

Comments about Hohner 455 Echo Celeste Tremolo Harmonica:

I recently purchased this Echo Celeste Tremolo harmonica along with another in the key of E and was disappointed as both would only produce the tremolo sound (beat note) on some but not all of their notes. This was true with both blow and draw notes regardless of how hard or softly I played them. Now, the tonality of these harps was pleasant, but they did not compare well with the other Tremolo harps I have. In all fairness I am comparing them with far more expensive instruments ( Hohner Echo 55/80 Tremolo, Seydel Fanfare Tremolo and Suzuki Humming Tremolo harps to be exact) which are all in the $100.00 apiece range where the Echo Celestes are just under $20.00 each. Still, if someone is looking for a true tremolo sound throughout the instrument's full range of notes, the more expensive instruments are well worth the difference.

    Hohner tremolo Harps

    By Daryl Johnson

    from Lindstrom, Minnesota/Deming, NM

Comments about Hohner 455 Echo Celeste Tremolo Harmonica:

I bought my first Hohner C-G Echo in Duluth in 1953.I still have it and it still plays great. Since I have 8 tremolo harps A, B, C, D,E, F and bflat.I play 2-5 times a week mostly in jams and nursing homes. The sounds and effects I can get with tremolo's suit me over blues and chromatics. I had been using Hohner Goliaths but recently bought 2 Echo Celestes. The only difference as I see it is that the Celestes don't like to be overblown and work best miked. DJ

    Music From Heaven

    By Adam F. Courville

    from Beaumont Texas

Comments about Hohner 455 Echo Celeste Tremolo Harmonica:

I bought Two of these sweet harmonicas and they are exceptional in sound and quality. I love to play old time Pop and Rock so I purchased the Ab and A for now. The larger harmonicas gives you even the very low notes so you can play the full range of the tune. Anne Murray`s Can I Have This Dance comes out very well. I plan to buy more keys.

    By Margiee Emery

Comments about Hohner 455 Echo Celeste Tremolo Harmonica:

I am not a musician. I purchased the Hohner 455 Echo Celeste Tremolo Harmonica (2) C,& A as a gift. The recipient was extremely well pleased. I hardly know which side to blow in. The staff at Guitar Center were courteous, and helpful. Five stars on product and even greater service, 5 stars on: service, product, and price = 15 stars. Great performance Guitar Center. Standing ovation!!! Walt

    New fuel for the soul

    By Alfred hitchblues

    from earth

Comments about Hohner 455 Echo Celeste Tremolo Harmonica:

Hey blues chokers, looking for something a little different that won't bust the wallet? Check out the Echo Celeste. This is an inexpensive way to introduce a new sound into your sets without going overboard. - Extremely tight tuning - low price - all major keys available - good construction - plastic comb (zero swell) I've found this an indispensable addition to background rythm lines and short solos. If you play country, blues, cajun, etc., this is a great way to get a different flavor flowing. You will not be disappointed!
