Great Value but....
I ordered this set of harmonicas and i must say for 19.99,it is a great value but i was disappointed in the quality. The harmonica covers are made of plastic and not made of metal like most. This is a great buy for the beginner since you get 7 harmonicas. One in A,Bb,C,D,E,F and G.
So if your just starting out,buy this set.

Piedmont Wales
I've been playing the harp since 1972 when i was stuck in detention at high school. It seemed like a good way to break the blue(no pun intended). My first harp was a plastic harp I had received as a stocking stuffer. Since those days I've preferred Horners Pro-harps and Lee Oscars but, I must say...these Piedmonts allow bending the notes like only the Oscars could...or so I thought...@ twenty dollars for seven harps & in it's handy nylon case...I think I'll buy two or three more sets...
good form

Musical instruments for free, practically.
As far as I'm concerned, the case alone could be worth the price, as I recall spending about that much for cd and dvd wallets in the past.
I didn't know what to expect regarding quality, nor did I care. If they blew in tune, that's pretty much all I needed.
Well, I agree with the other review that these actually sound nice to boot. That is, these are not just cheap toy harmonicas, but rather legitimate musical instruments.
I'm thrilled with this purchase, and will enjoy learning harmonica on the cheap.

Pleased With Piedmont Blues Harps
I was pleased to receive this set of Hohner Piedmont Blues harmonicas as a gift. They play easily and are very clear. I've tried all 7, and am pleased with how they feel to the mouth and how they sound.
The only thing that I am not sure of, is how the plastic cover-plates will hold up. I'm not hard on any of my musical instruments though, so I'm hoping they will last me as long as I live.

Surprisingly good
Picked up this set as a Christmas present. The harmonicas are made of plastic, so they look a little cheesy, but the quality of sound is perfect. Very easy to manipulate, provides a very nice slow soft tone. Probably not the best bet for a seasoned blues harp player, but perfect for a beginner or someone playing the more mournful harmonica tunes out there.

Great Value
For the price and quality it is unbeatable! Every harmonica you need for hobby or professional play. Great sound and very lightweight. The case is a great way to keep the harps together, clean, and intact. Great to have even if you're not an avid player.

Hoener makes a winner.
I want it to go on the record by saying I love the piedmont blues harmonica set. This harmonica set is very easy to play, very comfortable in the hands, and gets a great sound. If your a beginner and feel like getting a set of harmonicas look no further then piedmont blues harmonica set. It was nice that all the harps were included its a great kit for finding your sound. My only complaint is that the harps are plastic and I often fear they might get crushed(cause i Usually keep them in my back pocket). Also "Piedmont Blues" and "A" wore off my A harp so often times i find myself playing the wrong side just to quickly remedy that with a quick flip. Aside from that these things rock. Perfect for any style of playing.

Great for beginners!
I have played harmonica before, but very little. I was told that Hohner is the way to go, so I bought this very inexpensive set. Although they're plastic, they give out an amazing sound. The case is great, everything arrived in perfect shape. I can't recommend this enough.
If you're just starting to play Harmonica, and want a set of your own, this is certainly the way to go, they're cheap, and they produce great sound.

Great case, junk harps
I picked this up mostly for the case. I had not played a Hohner until I bought this set and if this is any indication, I don't want to. I own three Lee Oskers and needed a case, plus I needed the rest of the set. So I figured that I would replace these at worst with Lee Oskers as I could, and use the ones in this set as stand-ins. Boy, these are last resort harps here!
These are give away harps. They are slightly smaller than a regular harp, and the plastic body makes them harder to play than a metal case. You have to force more air in and out than a metal harp, and playing them rubs the paint off telling you what key it is in. They sound wretched until they break in, but my Lee Oskers didn't need break in. When Im done, Ill sell these to the drunks who think they can play with me for $2 each. They are junk. I wouldn't even recommend them for beginners because they will frustrate you. Get a good set. The case is nice, but could use a handle.
