A great harmonica. The old standby. Easy bends.

The other reviewer is dead on. This is a great little diatonic harmonica for beginners and advanced players alike. It's been around for decades (at least!) and for good reason. It has that classic sound, is reliable, is quite inexpensive, and is easy to play. It is also very good for doing those bluesy bends. I got one of these almost 20 years ago and it's still going strong. Highly recommended.

Hohner At Its Best

The Hohner Marine Band harmonica is a great original harmonica. This ten hole harmonica is extremely easy to learn from and play on. The sound is great. It is also easy to bend on this harmonica. The Marine Band is my favorite harmonica and I recommend it to anyone, from beginner to advanced players.

If its good enough for Bob Dylan, Then its good enough for me.

This is in my opinion the best sounding harp out there. Of course I haven't tried them all, but from what I have, this is the best. I love this harmonica. I just ordered a new one in E and I cant wait for it to arrive. As I said, if its good enough for Bob Dylan, then its good enough for me.

nice harmonica

I'm not really much of a harp player. I have a couple of hohner blues harps, but I got this marine band in G to play along with Neil Youngs Heart of Gold. I have to say, I like the sound of the marine band a lot better-- it's crisper and easier to bend notes, for me at least. Maybe I'll tackle some Dylan now too.

dead spots. cant return. pissed.

Bought 3 harmonicas, a, g, and e to get a different feel for some bobby d songs. Each harmonica has a dead note on it somewhere. Feels like the reed is blown already or something when drawing.
