Not very experienced with harmonicas, just started playing about a month ago, but started with the hohner blues bender and the folkmaster by suzuki, i wanted to get a tremolo just because and this was a great price, beautiful sound, beautiful harmonica, great buy!
Just like some other that have written on here. I started playing the harps in January of 2011. Messed around with some Hohner blues harps and special 20's. Picked up a hohner weekender 12 diatonic tremolo harp, in the key of C and was so impressed with the sound and ease of playing. My daugher plays Bb trumpet so I bought her a Bb echo harp. Plays and sound just as good as the weekender tremelo harp. This by far is the best thing I have bought for my daughter in a long time. She has been playing non-stop. I go into her room and she transposing trumpet music into harp tab. These harps are available in all of the popular keys. I bought one of these Bb harps too. Plan is that we work on a group of songs and play some open mic's. Great value, great sound, easy to play. Can't go wrong with the price.
Hey blues chokers, looking for something a little different that won't bust the wallet? Check out the Echo Celeste. This is an inexpensive way to introduce a new sound into your sets without going overboard. - Extremely tight tuning - low price - all major keys available - good construction - plastic comb (zero swell) I've found this an indispensable addition to background rythm lines and short solos. If you play country, blues, cajun, etc., this is a great way to get a different flavor flowing. You will not be disappointed!
