Product Information

The harmonica equivalent of a 12-string guitar!

This is a harmonica with octave tuning (the upper row of 16 holes is tuned one octave below the lower row of 16). When the 2 rows are played at the same time this creates an effect of 2 harmonicas simultaneously playing the same melody. This enables a single player to achieve a stronger, full-bodied sound not possible while playing a standard diatonic.

Echo harmonicas offer comfortable curved mouthpieces with traditional wood combs. The chromeplated covers have turned- in ends for extra style and sound. Key of C.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

Hohner 1493/32 C Echo Harmonica Features:

  • 32 holes (2 rows of 16)
  • Each upper row hole is tuned an octave below each hole in the lower row
  • Achieves a stronger, full-bodied sound
  • Curved mouthpieces
  • Traditional wood comb

an addicting organ... that gets under your skin

this model is only the second one that i have ever put to lips... (my echo is about 50 years old though)... and i have been hooked since that moment.. an incredible piece of metal and wood. it has a crisp and full bodied sound that few other harmonicas offer for the price... i have only been playing with harmonicas for 2 years now and have improved so much in that time that i have even been allowed to sit in on local bands jam sessions... all due to this echo... it gives out a full rich sound that makes any blues riff fatter... you can get real gritty as well as stay clean and light if you desire... when paired with a motivated player there is no stopping them... the echo has made me desire to be a better musician and has helped me accel in the music i enjoy... i now own over 3 dozen harps of different manufacture and eras... some old and some new... some expensive and others cheap, but i always return to my echo when i want to play music that "speaks" to the listener and have them stop and listen to my music... and guitarists i meet really want to jam further with me... a real plus this instrument has expanded my talents and ability and i have increased in my experience level twentyfold... because it makes you desire to be a better player when you realize the potential is in you with this instrument. it has a long lasting wooden frame and body, and a classic style to it and the strong metal reeds make this a very dependable and a long term friend that i will keep with me forever. 5 stars to hohner
