  • PERFECT!

As reviewed by Dan GarcĂa| on 1/2/2011

At first I thought I was spending a lot of money in an instrument I really never knew if I could play well, but it turned out to be fun and very easy to play thanks to the 3/4 scale. The small distance between frets and strings makes it a MUST HAVE for beginners, plus the looks are great, it's very light so it wont hurt your back at all. The only negative thing this bass has are the strings, they're really cheap, but hey if you already spent about $400.00 dls in this baby just buy some new strings!! Thumbs up for Hofner and for Guitar Center!!!!

  • Awesome Bass

As reviewed by Eric on 4/9/2011

This bass is really awesome. From the moment I saw it, i knew I had to have it. The sound is pretty good. The only problem with mine is that the 1 fret on the E and A strings are really weird sounding. I still have the strings that came with it on the instrument. I would advise getting another set of strings. Ask about this ahead of time though. Overall good quality. Worthy for any playing level.

  • Great and prefect

As reviewed by A.J. Louis on 3/31/2011

When i went shopping for a short skale bass that was high quality with a low price. Thats what i found in this. When i got home with the bass, i looked ut over and found no scratches or blemishes, just that the binding paint dident blent with the sunburst to well. About a week later, i broke my g string and had it replaced, about a month later, i broke me string. At this paint i changed my strings and i sugjest you do to. The bridge is a bid annoying, i kept getting buzzing sounds from the bridge and had to adjust it with some plyers. Over all i am not disapinted with this bass and i love it.
