I purchased the Hipshot Brass A-Style Bass Bridge to replace the vintage-style folded piece of tin that came with my MIM P bass. It was money well spent. I loved the thing right out of the box. It was heavy in my hand, and so finely machined. It installed in minutes using 3 of the original 5 screw holes from the original bridge. This bridge is solid brass and the higher mass is one of the features I really love. The sustain of my bass is dramatically improved, and the individual string spacing is a nice thing to have. Intonation adjustments are smooth and easy on this bridge. Buying and installing this bridge greatly enhanced my bass's sound and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a higher mass bridge replacement that will retrofit most Fender Basses. Buy it!
