The Single Guitar Stand with SFF on Legs features the innovative Hercules Auto Grab System (AGS) yoke: the arms turn in and up with the weight of your guitar to hold it securely and simply open up when you lift it off. The legs and all contact points with the instrument feature Specially Formulated Foam (SFF) rubber to protect your guitar's finish. Also features the Hand Grip Height Adjuster, which makes adjustments a breeze with a locking pin to secure the stand in place. A folding backrest flips down to support your guitar and back up for storage and transport.
All Hercules stands are safe for most nitrocellulose lacquer finish guitars*.
*Hercules tests for many types of nitro finish, however some guitar manufacturers change their nitro mixture often. Guitars should never be stored on a stand...always in the case.

This is by far the best stand I have ever used. The auto locking is simply execellent. I have purchased four of these stands and gave my old ones that I have been using away
This is what you need. This stand truly works for ANY guitar body style. I picked one up for my Flying V and I love it. It is the best guitar stand that I have owned. It is far more sturdy and sure-footed than most standard guitar stands and holds your guitar very securely. The stand is activated by the weight of your guitar. Simply place the neck into the holder, set the guitar into place, and the stand locks your guitar into place. When you are ready to start shredding again, just pick it up. In the meantime your guitar is locked into place and held off of the floor at a secure angle with thick padding on the legs where the guitar body meets the stand. Awesome design. This is a no-brainer if you own a V or Explorer or any kind of odd guitar. It works great with standard guitar shapes as well.
Telescoping, locking yoke and very planted on a hard floor or carpet. I returned the cheesy 3 guitar Proline folding stand for this. The forward facing legs are well padded, but you may want to place some duct tape or foam on the exposed side of the yellow hinge in case you bump your axe before adjusting. Seems very sturdy. Worth the money and should last a long time. I store my long scale bass on it and could not be happier!
this is a great stand if you have an odd shaped guitar, I bought it for my Gibson Thunderbird and it works awesome, the height is more than enough for even long scale bass. I have it set so that my bass is just off the ground, but it can go another inch and a half or two easily. It's also very steady which is nice when you are walking around it all the time on stage. It doesn't fold down really small though so it might no be the best traveling stand if space is at a premium
This stand is great. Sturdy, tough, well made, you will not be disapointed.
I have an Ovation guitar. Because of this it's a little more difficult to find a guitar stand that will actually hold my guitar due to the curved back. This stand holds my guitar perfectly and securely. It is well worth the slightly higher price and I have already recommended it to a friend of mine. I also play bass occasionally and this stand will raise to a height that will accommodate that as well. Great job Hercules :)
I may only be a beginner but, as far as i know this stand is great. I play a Thunderbird bass and it holds it perfectly. I would recommend this stand to anyone.
I've owned this stand for three years and have used three other stand styles in the past. I can say this is the most versatile, easy to use, sturdy and gentilest stand for your guitar. With adjustability of the leg spacing, neck height, and the auto grab feature, this stand is a dream to use and will fit any guitar. Quick setup and teardown while locking your guitar in it's place and no worries of knocking it over. Did I mention that this is a VERY sturdy stand? The specially formulated foam legs protect your guitar back and headstock. I use this stand on my all wood guitars and an Ovation that is difficult to fit in other stands. Not so in the Hercules! Three years of hard use and this stand is like the day I bought it! Check these out before buying another stand.
I have this stand. I originally bought it because I have an odd shaped guitar that would not fit in a conventional stand correctly and this holds the guitar from the top. If you have a V or an explorer of any other guitar without the rounded back/bottom you need this stand. But after buying it I would also buy this stand for My les Paul as well or a Strat. It can hold ANY guitar and it locks it in there not just sets in the stand but as soon as you go to pick it up it unlocks automatically.
