The Single Guitar Stand with Folding Yoke features the innovative Hercules Auto Grab System (AGS) yoke: the arms turn in and up with the weight of your guitar to hold it securely and simply open up when you lift it off. Plus the yoke is designed to fold down for easy packing. The legs and all contact points with the instrument feature Specially Formulated Foam (SFF) rubber to protect your guitar's finish. Also features the Hand Grip Height Adjuster, which makes adjustments a breeze with a locking pin to secure the stand in place. A folding backrest flips down to support your guitar and back up for storage and transport.

All Hercules stands are safe for most nitrocellulose lacquer finish guitars*.

*Hercules tests for many types of nitro finish, however some guitar manufacturers change their nitro mixture often. Guitars should never be stored on a stand...always in the case.

NEW REVIEW - Mars the finish

I purchased this stand in 9/6/09 and in a little over a month I have noticed cosmetic marring at the headstock contact points- I have a vintage Les Paul Custom and would not recommend this stand for any valuable guitar - to quote the hercules company "During the research and development process of the Hercules foam, many tests were done on instruments with various lacquers, including nitrocellulose lacquer. These included tests subjecting the instruments on the stand to heat, cold and normal temperatures for periods of up to six months. All of the tests conducted by the factory showed that the foam was non-reactive to the various finishes used. However, there are so many variations in lacquer composition that it makes it impossible to test all known combinations and it is possible that some finishes will react to the foam." Too bad because the design is very nice

My first, my last, well you get it.

This is the first guitar stand that I bought. I really enjoyed it completely. I like how it locks the guitar (or holding it) in place. It is easy to fold down if you are on the go. Highly recommended for someone who is shopping or looking for something new.

Great Guitar Stand

I love this stand because all I have to do adjust the height of the stand with the trigger mechanism and than I would rest my guitar headstock on the yoke system. It is that easy. I already own two of these stands. I wouldn't mind buying more of these stands for my future guitars to come. The legs of this guitar stand is very stable. I got no problems with this stand. I would recommend this Hercules stand to anyone.

Bulletproof Unit

I can't tell you how many times I have knocked a guitar off a stand or, more agonizing, fighting with that blasted rubber neck strap of a stand. This unit is by far the best of the best, period. The design is solid, heavy, and indestructible, and the quick release locks are absolutely a dream if you are like me and keep several guitars at the ready. It stow quickly and sets up just as fast, and is more stable than any other stand I have used. The only thing I am not sure of is how long the head unit will last as the tabs that swing in to secure the neck are plastic; however, they are thick and made from what appears to be an impact-resistant polymer so I am not worried about its life. Yes, expensive. But this is where I feel the price is well worth the security of my Taylor accoustics.

A great, safe stand!

This stand meets the most important criteria - it hold my guitars safely and without possibility of damage to the guitars. That would be enough to recommend this stand. But wait - there's more! It also handles a broad range of guitar lengths without any additional adjustment (convienient) and you can easliy place and remove the guitar with one hand (no fumbling around). Highly recommended.
