The Hercules MS540B Low-Profile Tripod Microphone Boom Stand is armed with a Quik-N-EZ boom that tilts easily and slides smoothly to put your mic where you need it. The telescoping boom adjusts to your desired length and stays securely in place without slipping or sliding. Also features a Quik-N-EZ adapter for instant attachment of the mic to the stand--just flip the lever down to attach and up to remove. Works on 5/8" tubes and is rubber lined for a secure grip. The tripod base has durable die-cast aluminum housing and legs that fold out to form a wide, stable base.

    This small boom is great. I bought it for my flute which I sit on the floor for but the other day, I had a classical flute performance and it extended long enough to accomodate the mic in a sitting position. What a great surprise. It's so much easier to lug around than my taller boom. It de-assembles very easily so I can fit it into a small carrying bag. Very sturdy and nice wide base to prevent the mic from tipping over.

  • I will never buy another brand

    After buying countless 'store brand' mic stands/guitar stands only to be disappointed, I could probably buy 5 great quality Hercules stands with the money I've wasted in the past. Now, I never, ever worry about my mic stands falling over or stress about damaged gear since I've made the switch. Kudos to the folks at Hercules for giving me piece of mind.
