A great wallmount guitar hanger for oddly shaped guitars and basses!

The GSP39WB features an screw-in standard wallmounting system and the innovative Hercules Auto Grab System (AGS) yoke: the arms turn in and up with the weight of your guitar to hold it securely and simply open up when you lift it off. Also features a specially designed AutoSwivel yoke, which rotates clockwise and counterclockwise to allow unconventionally shaped guitars and basses to hang vertically. The yoke is completely covered with Specially Formulated Foam (SFF) rubber to protect your guitar's finish.

Hands down fantastic.

I was given one of these this past Christmas (2007). I had been wanting one of these for a while as my room is too cramped for floor stands, but I have plenty of wall space. So I was asking for one, and I got one. Boy do these things work wonders. As long as you have a drill and the proper bits, you can install one of these things with no problem. And they come with dry-wall anchors too, so you don't need to find a stud or install it on a solid wall. Not only are they easy to install, but they are solid too. They have the patented Hercules locking pegs that keep your guitar in place. Plus the head swivels, so even if you have a guitar with a very narrow and flat on one side HS like an ESP EX/V, they will still cradle it with ease. They can hold a lot too. Even if you have a big heavy Les Paul or something, they won't come out of the wall. Another thing too is that they hold the guitar about 4 inches away from the wall, so you don't need to worry about them scratching the paint or ripping posters. All in all just a great buy. If you're looking to mount a guitar to the wall, buy one of these. I'm sure gonna be getting 2 more for my other guitars.

wall mounted guitars and basses

This hanger is the best thing I have found. I mounted three of them on a piece of 3/4 inch thick plywood;which I stained &varnished 10 inches x48 inches. I used 10/24 screws and "t-nuts" on the backside making it very strong and mounted the board to the wall with large through the wall butterfly fasteners. I now have five basses and one guitar hanging on the wall and lots of floor space. Buy these hangers they are the best and are strong enough for any axe you own.

Great device

This is a great device for holding a guitar on the wall out of reach of toddlers. The one thing I didn't like is the screws were too short to reach the wall studs so I had to buy longer ones. Another thing is the two lower holes are wider than a wall stub, but fortunately the base swivels so that you can anchor two of the three holes into a stud for a solid hold. Excellent design.

NEW REVIEW - Hercules wall mounts are great!

we bought the hercules floor stand ,which we love, then i saw the wall mount,and i have to say this little gem is great,and at a steal with its price. the hercules wall mount fits our fender strat as well as our ovation round back. and i would recomend to anyone ,hercules wall mount is a great product!
