Perfect For Practice, Perfect Protection
I have practice with my metal band around twice a week, we have three guitarists each blating sound with a halfstack,a singer who growls and screams like no other, and a drummer with so much strength at the moment at playing drums, that i was forced to protecting my ears, so i went to the closest guitar center. The guy working there points me to these and says, THESE ARE IT! and YES THEY WERE, i can hear everything with out my ears ringing after practice, we can crank our amps and rock out and not have to worry about the noise damaging our ears. so. GO OUT AND GET A PAIR!

Turn down the volume, not muffle it
amazingly these things take any type of music and basically lower the volume without distorting any of the frequencies. I would recommend these to anyone who plays music with a band, frequents rock concerts, or just would like to make noisy situations more tolerable.

Great Earplugs!
I was purchasing just your regular old foam earplugs from Walmart for a while, but I play electric guitar, and they just filtered out too many of my frequencies. A friend recommended these, and I haven't looked back! They lessen the entire mix, no frequencies more than others. A fantastic product for the gigging musician!

After using many other earplugs, nothing felt right, the noise sounded wierd and i couldnt hear myself talk. These are amazing! I can hear what everything should sound like and save my ears at the same time! If you dont like the way other earphones sound or feel check these out!

Filters I can't do without
I bought these filters a year ago and have used them for all practices with my band. They are soft and comfortable and fit in the ear well without much effort. They reduce the music without discoloration, it's as if someone just took a volume knob and turned everything down. It's interesting that it is easy to hear vocals over all the music with these in, even at high volumes. If you don't play with ear plugs, I would suggest these because you don't miss anything except for the pain and ringing in your ears after playing even at outrageous volumes.

the most beautiful product ever invented... (besides the marching snare)
I play drumset and have recently began playing snare on a drumline. These are absolutely amazing. Before, I had been using these noise cancellation headphones that totally threw off the balance, looked stupid, and did not do a good job lowering the volume. All in all, the headphones were not saving my precious hearing. Then I decided to check out these ear plugs, and life just found new meaning. I was practicing in my yard and every note I played sounded crisp and articulate. My neighbor was mowing his lawn and instead of an earsplitting roar, there was a soft purr being emitted by his mower. If you've ever played a marching snare, it's painful to the ear without some protection. Before these ear plugs, after every stroke I could feel my ear drums splitting in two. Now that I have these HEAROS, I can practice by myself and with the band for hours without that annoying ringing in my ears. I <3 these.

They worked
Purchased these earplugs and used them at the Tribute to Hendrix concert. Could hear the lead guitars very well with them in. Little rods coming out from them make them easy to adjust for comfort and volume. My ears did not ring after the concert where I could feel blasts of air from the speakers.

works great for even concerts
I first tried them out at a Nine Inch Nails concert (row 13) and a FooFighters concert, and they worked great! No annoying buzzing that you get from cheap plugs, I didn't notice any significant volume drop in any frequencies. Not sure how'd they'd work in a superloud environment, but they worked great.

Does what it claims
When I am with any of my groups, whether it be my jazz combo or metal group, i am the one doing sound checks (live and the mixing in the studio). In live situations I need to be able to do good sound checks and be able to play on stage, but whenever I had earplugs I needed to take them out, potentially damaging my ear. With Hearos I can keep them in and still hear everything perfectly. Definitely the best earplugs I have used, uncontested.
