Gotta give props. GC was excellent! Bought 2 of these online during the labor day sale Friday night and they were at my house by Tuesday morning. Checkout only took five minutes and the price was so low I thought it was a typo. They also came double boxed with return slips right on top. As for the speakers, WOW!!! The build quality was higher than expected. Cabs are well engineered and well thought out. The plastic is tough and thick. I plugged them in, hooked up an ipod and at first, it's kind of like... yawn. But after a few different configurations and some setting changes,... BOOM!!! Got these things ROCKING THE HOUSE! Purchased these blind off reviews, but seriously doubt any other entry level speaker sounds much better. Great job, Guitar Center and Harbinger! I'm very pleased with the product and the transaction. Now let's see if they hold up. :-)

I bought these when they were first out, have tried them as mains, a bit shrill for pa, but they work great as monitors, as long as you wedge them to a usable angle, they don't have the right angle to lay on the side. Do not daisy chain these, the factory reversed phase on the output, so when linked you get a honky midrange sound. Alerted the manufacturer of this, but be warned. Or wire an xlr cable reverse and go with that.

Great stand-alone speaker for the single musician!

By Brian

Comments about Harbinger Vari V2112 600 W 12" Two-Way Powered Loudspeaker:

I currently use this speaker with a microphone and an acoustic guitar. The "three input mixer" is a little misleading - there is one XLR input on one channel that is a line input, and two inputs (one XLR and one 1/4" jack) on the other channel, and that channel is switchable to either a line input or a mic input. So the combined input can only be used for a guitar or a microphone, but not both - so that limits me to only a single microphone with a guitar. That problem (allowing multiple instruments and mics) can be solved by using a separate mixing board. Other than that, the sound on this is fantastic and this is a perfect speaker for personal gigs!

Comments about Harbinger Vari V2112 600 W 12" Two-Way Powered Loudspeaker:

Was sent a used speaker beat up labels missing no cords no paper work in the wrong box. The worst customer service I have ever heard was told to take it back to a store and order another one. I told it was mailed to me I do not have a store close send a pick up slip and send me a new one that I ordered and paid for. Tasha Sokolov in customer service to this day has not called or emailed back nor has a customer service manager called or emailed back very poor service.12/16/2016

Really surprised by these. Perfect for Vocals and Band practice, wouldn't run a bass or piano through them. Good for monitors and just great to hear vocals in band practice! They are great price for what I need I wouldnt use them for a show other than a small show or just one guitar and vocals. great for monitors.

      Comments about Harbinger Vari V2112 600 W 12" Two-Way Powered Loudspeaker:

I am an amateur DJ, new to actually owning a DJ speaker. This was my first one! I have owned one of these now for over 4 months. I have done a couple smaller gigs, and have used it at home a lot! I love music and sound equipment. This product found me at the right time, and so I could not pass up on the sale opportunity, I may get a second one. I am very happy with my purchase. It has great sound quality, very sturdy, powerful, and nice looking! It packs plenty of bass in my opinion, and I listen to a lot of Rock music! The features on it are good enough for me, you have control over the input level, bass and treble controls, and volume. I saw reviews saying that it doesn't produce 600 Watt sounding sound. Although, I can't confirm if this is true or not, it does SEEM like it should be louder. But like I said before, it was plenty powerful for what I am using it for, and I would really like to test 2 of these at a bigger party outside! Another nice thing about this is, if you need more sound, you can always add other speakers or add more of these, or add the 15 inch version. You can always add and mix speakers! I guess the real only thing I could say thats not so good about it is, it is bulky and a little heavy, but I really don't car about that much, because it still fits nice in my small car, plus it has the amp built in, so no messing with extra cords or amplifiers. Just carry this guy in, hook it up to your mixer and start playing music! I highly recommend this for anyone who wants a smaller speaker, but have enough power for small or medium parties. I suppose it would make a good monitor speaker for bands as well.

I have been building my studio for awhile. and looking for an affordable powered speaker. When I found these for such a low price I was skeptical but took a chance. I ordered one and it arrived in two days. Long story short. I was so impressed by the quality of the workmanship and the sound......wow. I ordered a second one and my studio has never sounded so good.

          Comments about Harbinger Vari V2112 600 W 12" Two-Way Powered Loudspeaker:

I was Blown away by this lightweight unit, and the great, powerful sound it provided that I ended up buying another one and even got speaker covers for them since I've have been using them a lot. I got this one for a great price -- under $150. Since then, the price has gone up on them. It has a nice midrange - and lows - and I love the sound of my voice through it primarily since I have a pretty high scathing voice. It doesn't sound boxy, but has a nice full range of sound (for my voice). I use it for smaller club settings and with 600 Watts, it can power up pretty well with plenty of headroom. I still have yet to know of its durability since I just got it. But I've been putting it to use.
