what a deal

By JOHN

from NASHVILLE TN

I bought 2 of the 15" powered speakers for my pa I use a presonus 16.0.1 board and I have been blown away with the sound quality of these speakers. Not to mention the price range. I found one of the 12" speakers on sale and bought it . and man I wasn't disappointed the sound quality and power gave this a 15 on the scale of 1 to 10. Needless to say when they went on sale again I bought another one so now I have 2 15s and 2 12s for monitors . I have nothing against the high end name brand speakers but why spend the money if you don't have to. These speakers are going to give all those big boys some serious competition. All I can say is GET THESE SPEAKERS........

Great powered PA for the price

By Gilbert

from Boston MA

I wanted a speaker to use for outdoor parties, DJing in the basement, and a general outlet for listening to music loudly. This speaker fits the bill. It gets quite loud, feels rather solid, and is pretty compact. The 1/8" stereo in is great for using with an iPod too. As far as fidelity is concerned, it's not warm or transparent or the other words I use when my audiophile hat is on. But when you are concerned with volume, when your ears are actually dulled to such details, this speaker sounds clear and natural enough. If you're at a party, most people aren't critically listening to the music, but with these speakers they can hear each and every word and bass note. Value wise, these speakers are fantastic.

awesome speakers, awesome interface

By Thomas

from Indianapolis IN

I got a pair of the 15's. They had to ship since they didn't have in stock. I shipped them to work and plugged in there in our 20,000 sq ft warehouse. One speaker filled the room with no effort. It sounded incredible. People could hear it through 2 walls 100' up the hall. With all the plugs on the back there probably isn't too much that can't be hooked up to this thing. The intention was to use it for the band and also in the backyard around the firepit with the mp3 player and bass both plugged in and jamming out. Alas, we played a gig and ran these side by side with the Alto 12's our guitar player bought. Although the Harbingers have better bass response, the Alto's were much clearer and I took these back and bought the Alto 15's. I still give a 5 star rating because although the Alto sounds cleaner, Harbinger has more options for inputs (Alto has XLR and 1/4 only) and also better tone control(Alto has a contour button).

Great Value

By Misty

from Joplin MO

Gotta give props. GC was excellent! Bought 2 of these online during the labor day sale Friday night and they were at my house by Tuesday morning. Checkout only took five minutes and the price was so low I thought it was a typo. They also came double boxed with return slips right on top. As for the speakers, WOW!!! The build quality was higher than expected. Cabs are well engineered and well thought out. The plastic is tough and thick. I plugged them in, hooked up an ipod and at first, it's kind of like... yawn. But after a few different configurations and some setting changes,... BOOM!!! Got these things ROCKING THE HOUSE! Purchased these blind off reviews, but seriously doubt any other entry level speaker sounds much better. Great job, Guitar Center and Harbinger! I'm very pleased with the product and the transaction. Now let's see if they hold up. :-)

Public Apology To Others Who Wanted to Buy This at My Local GC

By Matt

from Seattle Wa

I want to apologize publicly for what I did. Here's what happened- I was going to buy some Behringer 200w 12 in wedge monitors for 269, but these went on sale for labor day. So today, I went down to GC to see how they sounded, and I was blown away. These are great speakers for floor monitors for the price. 600w is more than you need, but the clarity is awesome. Oh yeah, the apology- They only had 6 on hand, so I bought all 6. Couldn't pass up the deal at $129 a piece. And sorry to the people who paid full price. Great speakers!

Great powered speakers

By LUTHOR

from Corona,Ca

I've been researching some new PA speakers for a while and decided to pop into GC to see if I could find the one I decided to purchase. The speakers I originally decided on weren't there but as I was walking out I saw the Harbinger V2112 tucked away in the corner. I read the specs, which actually read better than the other ones. I asked my sales rep to make me offer I couldn't resist. He did and I walked out with 2 new speakers plus a speaker stand. Excited to hear how they sound, since I never heard them in the store, I hooked them up with my Berhinger 12" powered sub, made some minor eq adjustments, then proceeded to play some music from my Ipad. My first impression was "yes", then Wow! They sound pretty awesome. I will be using them with my 3 piece band for live gigs as well as mobile DJ. Great speaker for a great price.

I own The 15s & Now I Own the 12s ! Awesome Speakers

By Nick Lamberti

from Boston Ma

I own the 15s and after a couple of weeks went right out and got the 12s.Fantastic speaker at an incredible price point. Ive already done 12-13 gigs with these . Good build quality, reliable with no problems. Rear inputs are great. The have great response to mic and line inputs if you want to use them stand alone the mic input is hot enough to run direct with no outside mixer so you actually get volume. The aux mp3 input uses a mono wire so dont be thrown off it does work great. Finally a working Djs speaker if you dont have a big budget and want good sound.Thank you Harbinger !

Fantastic Speakers!

By Hughes Kitchens

from Macon, Ga

I bought a couple theses babies a few months ago and I could not be more pleased. I perform both solo with backing tracks and with a 3-piece band and these speakers are perfect for the small to medium venues like bars, restaurants, and club- type places. For the smaller events I run the vocals, bass, and electronic drums through my Yamaha mixer to these bad boys and they handle everything perfectly. The low end is very deep and hits hard and the mid to high range is crisp and clear. The backing tracks sound excellent through them, as well. Add all this with the sheer light-weight convenience of it all and you've got yourself an excellent little system. For outside events and larger venues, I do recommend a monitor or two, and of course, as with any band, a solid bass amp or subwoofer, just to add a little more umph (not saying that these speakers can't handle it, but a little help on the low end is always useful). all in all, I definitely recommend these speakers, just make sure you've got a solid mixer and what-not.

Great Speaker

By Stephen Taylor

from Quincy, MA

I previously had the APS12 powered speakers by Harbinger and those were okay but when I saw this puppy at the store I couldn't resist purchasing two. They have been awesome for monitors during our schools Gospel Choir concerts and for gospel music you gotta be able to handle everything and this bad boy did the job. Afterwards I used just one for a party setting and I got complaints about it being too loud on only half volume so this thing kicks hard. I love it.
