Bought two of these and an hx118 subwoofer. I'm running the hx's on a crown xls drivecore 1000 and the sub on a 1500. Man oh man I love these babys. As a dj I need portability, however the sub is kinda awkward to lift. How ever gigging with them once to twice a week for five, six hours a night at max spl the past month I can't complain.
I was sceptical about buying these speakers because of living in the Bahamas and I wouldn't be able to return them, but boy am i impressed with these bad boys they are crisp and clear and I would recommend them to anyone wish I tried these long time ago they are the bomb....ps they don't need much power either and they are loud.
I have used these 3-5 nights a week for over 2 years now...They are still crystal clear and in great shape!! Purchase these and you wil not be disappointed!
I was looking for an affordable set of speakers that would produce enough sound to fill the room and still sound good. I have had these for about a year and they work great after several uses. Well worth the money.
I was very impressed with these. Ran them at peak for about 2.5 hours and did great. The bass isn't the deepest but its pretty punchy. The low end on these did better than the $1200 sub we rented.
Bought a pair four months ago (Monitor too)...sound was great compared to JBL and B-52s. Giged with them twice before sound changed to playing in a can half way through a performance. Thought it was the mixer until I plugged a set of JBLs. Still trying to figure out what went bad.
I was a bit skeptical about buying these speakers, as i've never heard of them. but after i made the salesmen hook them up alongside both the yamaha BR15s and the similarly priced JBL15s i was pleasantly surprised with the harbingers output. I have since gigged out with these speakers several a time and do not have any complaints. I do several forms of entertainment (weddings, karaoke, special events, etc) and have yet to reach a crowd where my two 151s weren't 'enough'.
