These Speakers HIT....I got 2 and now thinking that that might be too much bass for me..HA...Connect these speakers to the right setup and you will be blown away. Don't be fool by the price, these subs are worth way more than the price.
I went to GC to check out some subs, I heard these next to peavy's and JBL's, the HX118S was louder and had better range. I've had them about six months now, I've used them for indoor and outdoor parties. I do a lot of house and college gigs, I definitely use my equipment to its full potential. After breaking in these subs I played some Bass Mechanics at pretty much full volume before a gig to make sure they wouldn't fail, and to see how they really sound. I was pretty amazed at the frequency response, and the output level,these things go low. I played some Victor Wooten bass solos through them to test tone accuracy and again I was very impressed. My only complaint is the carpeting on one of mine isn't glued down, it seems to just be clamped by the hardware, other than that you won't find better subs in the same price range. Awesome product.
I'm a mobile DJ. I was looking for something that would be tough and have a great sound. I stopped by the store and did some comparisons. Harbinger sold me. I have used it for over a year with no problems and I power it with a Behringer EP1500 bridged. I was in the middle of ordering another one when I decided to leave feedback.
