  • BUY IT!

As reviewed by Jeff on 6/15/2010

Love 'em. Tried the Harbinger APS15's and took them back. The highs were okay, but the mids were muddy and a little distorted when running my Line6 pod xt through my mixer. Bought the HP115's and they rock! The 500 watt bi-amp has plenty of headroom. My pod xt models sound like the real deal now. Couldn't be happier with it. About the construction: This is one serious wooden cabinet, nothing like the plastic cabinets that I checked out on similar priced Mackies. You can hear it with the bass response. I don't think that you can get this tight of bass in a plastic cabinet anywhere near this price range, unless you pair with a sub. Low cut switch and ground lift are useful features, but so far haven't needed them.

  • Great sounding!

As reviewed by Jeff Schlegel on 10/3/2010

I compaired these to the OSC's with the subwoofer and these sounded better! They are the loudest speakers I have heard and also sound great! I want to get the matching subwoofer when it comes in. Other bands are asking me about these speakers when they hear em. They are solid but not too heavy. Not sure how reliable they are as we just got them.

  • These Guys Bring It

As reviewed by Eric on 4/19/2011

I picked up a pair of theses after I realized my APS12's weren?t going to cut it. I DJ'd a gig at a large venue which included acapella singing and an MC. I used the APS12's the HP115's along with a Harbinger HP118 powered sub and got nothing but compliments about the sound. These speakers are fairly heavy and large, but worth every ounce. The speaker?s sounded great at both low and high volume with absolutely no distortion.
