Must Have.

By Brett

Comments about Hansenfutz Futz Practice Pedal:

This is a terrific practice tool. It's sturdy and fully lives up to it's description. I have owned this product for 4 months now. The simple foam silencer pad it comes with is so quiet it's hard to hear over a practice pad, which is fine by me because I often use it where I don't want others to hear it. What isn't mentioned in the description is that if you'd like it louder, you can just remove the silencer pad for a click sound. You don't need the extra impact discs advertised. It is a super sensible purchase. Why wouldn't you add a little bass drum exercise while playing a practice pad? I have experienced results in strength and speed. I like it so much I am getting a second one so I can play both feet.

It's awesome until it breaks!

By The Killer Bee Relay Team

Comments about Hansenfutz Futz Practice Pedal:

I've had this pedal for a few months now and it has absolutely helped me with my bass drum game. However, just this morning I went to use it, and the plastic around the moving joint just snapped off! This is a great tool and I may consider buying another, but I think that Hansenfutz could benefit by using metal parts where the unit is stressed the most and charging another $10.

Great practice tool!

By Dorothy

from San Francisco, CA

Comments about Hansenfutz Futz Practice Pedal:

This is a perfect practice tool for beginning drummers like me. The Velcro keeps the pedal in place well in the carpet. The tension takes a little bit of getting used to. Its pretty compact so you can store this easily when you're using it. Best of all I like that it is quiet but you can still hear it without disturbing others. It's quiet, sturdy, and compact. Definitely a great purchase.

Great practice tool

By Jose UndertheGun

from Killeen, Texas

Comments about Hansenfutz Futz Practice Pedal:

If you're just looking for something to get your feet warmed up before a show and you don't want to make a whole lot of noise, then this what you need. In some cases it's too quiet but worth it. I will be getting the addition disc just so I can hear a click. Don't expect it to react the same as your regular pedal(s). I recommend this to anyone that wants to build up strength and stamina.

Excellent practice tool.

By Paul Padilla

from Oceanside, CA

Comments about Hansenfutz Futz Practice Pedal:

I've been skeptical for a long time thinking that it couldn't possibly feel like my DW9000s. Then it dawned on me that they don't have to...I treat them the same way I do a heavy pair of marching sticks on a practice pad. It's purely to develop endurance and coordination and when approached from that perspective they couldn't be a more perfect, portable, not to mention inexpensive tool for your feet. We all tap our feet on the floor to mimic our pedals (driving people crazy in the process) but Hansenf_tz give you the necessary resistance to make the tapping more constructive and applicable to real playing. In just a few days I've banged out more work on my feet than I normally get the opportunity to do in 6 months. Adjusting the pedal is simple enoughۡ_tension as well as pedal height. The basic impact disk it comes with is almost completely silent. I actually found it a little too quiet. I had trouble connecting with what I was playing, so the next step up which you get when you buy the impact disk kit was perfect for me.

A great pratice tool!

By Tommy

from NYC

Comments about Hansenfutz Futz Practice Pedal:

OK, so first impression when I got these was that were kinda flimsy looking. Then I placed them on the rug and gave a try and they don't exactly respond the same way as regular pedals. After a little while though you get used to it. I now find myself using them almost everyday (when I can't get to my rehearsal room) even if I'm just hanging out watching TV. They are a practice tool so buy them with that mentality and you won't be disappointed. I've felt my double bass improve a lot since I've gotten them and will definitely recommend them!

This is the number one practice tool for your feet. Great response and feel. You can adjust the tension just like real kick pedals. Also, great for working on technique and stamina. Definitely recommend!
