We just bought this thing a week ago to replace our original leslie that was so old and had alot of problems. Now,this thing sounds so good and so powerful, I had to move it away from the edge of our church platform and I dont even need to mic it any more.It truely makes me enjoy playing again, even the people in the balcony can hear it with out a mic in it,and I dont even have to put it in a corner to have more bass,it's truely awesome.

  • My Leslie

As reviewed by richard forsee on 12/14/2011

I was a little spectacles about this version of Leslie. I had a 122 thirty years ago, purchased a 122xb about 10 years ago. I used them a lot never had any problems, and loved the sound. Leslie had other portable versions with vinyl covering that needed a conversion box to operate if you did not have the right connector. Those days are gone. The 3300 has its own amp. 300 watts, not the old 50 watts. Sturdy covering, matches my SR series JBLS very rugged. Can control the horn volume separate from the bass speaker, can control the speed, the rise and fall of the rotar speed. Do not need any conversion boxes, just plug in a 1/4 inch plug or a 11 pin leslie cable and you are ready to go. It sounds great. I tried several keyboards on it. The keyboard is part, but this speaker makes the legendary sound come alive. And its portable. It still weighs 125 pounds. But you can get it in a car. Do not have to have a big van. I use a GMC Envoy and it gets in there with my keyboards just fine. Also has add on outputs for subs or other speakers. These guys thought of everything this time and got it right. They are fantastic.
