The extra shelf is felt-lined to quietly stow pencils, bows, etc. A patented trigger lock allows one-handed height adjustments from 29"-50". 19-3/4" x 13/4" desk. Steel desk with black epoxy finish. Holds up to 10 lbs.
This stand works better then any other stand that I have had!!! I really like the one-handed height adjustment feature and with it being magnetic I use a magnet to hold sheet music up. The second shelf is useful for holding my bow and pencil instead of it being in front of my music. I will recommend this stand to everyone.

I recently bought this stand and I guess it works fine for what it is although I'm none too impressed. The quality is pretty much what one would expect of a product made in China - basically just over-priced crap, in my opinion. Don't waste your money on this item.
