Comments about Hal Leonard Blues Rhythm Guitar - MI Series (Book/Online Audio):
I've only just started working through the book, but it's super easy to get a music library setup and access the audio tracks. There is a nice media player that Hal Leonard uses as part of their website that allows you to loop parts of the track and speed up and slow down without pitch shifting. This is going to be very beneficial. I've heard learning the blues is all about listening to it and mimicking what you here so this will definitely be used a lot.
Probably good if you've played some guitar before getting into this one. Chapter 2 starts talking about chord changes and has you play a shuffle rhythm (covered in Chapter 1) while changing barre chords which takes a lot of practice and patience on its own. Otherwise I'm pretty excited about the content and I think it's a great diving board for blues guitar.
