Noted mandolinist and teacher Rich Del Grosso has authored this Hal Leonard Mandolin Method book. It features great playable tunes in several styles -- bluegrass, country, folk, and blues -- in standard music notation and tablature for the mandolin.
As a beginner, in playing a mandolin, I didn't like this book. It was confusing to me and I didn't feel like it helped me along in the learning process. I bought a different method book that I feel has helped me a lot better. I bought it because of the reviews it had received, but we all have different learning types, and this book didn't do it for me.
