    I think that beginners will find this book pretty helpful. You will learn basics of guitar playing by learning your favorite Metallica riffs. Books pays equal attention to acoustic melodies as well as heavy electric riffs. Every technique is well expained and easy to understand. Also book comes with CD.

    I bought this book when I first started and I learned how to read TAB and notes. The CD starts of by tuning your guitar so you can use it with the songs. It may seem hard at first but you learn how to use it well. I suggest that beginners buy this book because you learn your favorite parts of Metallica songs.
