  Been playing on and off for years, but never had a structured practice regiment before. I could play chords and some songs but always other peoples music. If you want to learn how people create their own licks and solos, as well as the theory behind it, this set is for you. I am only on the 2nd disc right now, and I already can string together my own licks as well as rhythm. This is not some "Learn Guitar in 15 minutes" gimmick. It does take practice and hard work. Your hands will be sore at first, but it has been well worth it. Great for guitarists who want to go from knowing a few chords, to understanding blues theory and how to play.

• Not worth the money

  I purchased the course a few weeks ago and found it to be lacking in detail, it appears it was rushed. Most of the guitar instruction cannot be heard over the accompanying keyboard player, all of the music examples are done with slash chords, why not give some sample chord rythems? Steve Krenze is a good player but in my opinion he is not a good teacher. I went thru each dvd a couple times to try and like it but it only made me more angry that I was out $90.00. Since I purchased the set from Guitar Center it is not returnable even though Legacy Learning Systems offers a money back guarantee but only if purchsed thru them. The only reason I gave 2 stars was there is some value in the amount of theory covered, in all fairness this course is labled for intermediate players. For my hard earned $90.00 I expected a lot more than what I got.
