  • great album, inaccurate book

As reviewed by Mr. Bob on 3/29/2007

it's too bad the book isn't as good as the album. There are a lot of mistakes in this book. For instance in Rasberry jam, in the intro, Joe plays 10, open, 12, open on the b, then 12, 11 on the e for the main riff. The book would have you do this wierd, finger the g string on the 4th with your right hand and tap the riff out with your left. I'm sure it's hard to try and transcribe every note right with Satch's stuff, but this book is so wrong, you almsot need the live in SF dvd to check for mistakes. Otherwise, an awesome book that can teach you a lot.
