Great book, a little over my head...

How to Make Your Electric Guitar Play Great is an excellent reference book, but I don't know how much I will get out of it. The information on what to look for when purchasing a new or used guitar is invaluable, but most of the repair work info seems a little intense. Unless you plan on guitar work being MUCH more than a hobby you may want to leave most of the work explained in this book to a professional. That being said, I bought it anyway because ya never know. It is very well written, and Dan Erlewine really knows what he is doing. The photos are good too, I just wish they were in color.
