  • Beginner's Luck

    My neighbor sold me my first guitar this past spring, so I bought Guitar Method by recommendation from the staff at Guitar Center. I have truly enjoyed it. The DVD element is ideal for learning on your own time, even in your underwear with a favorite drink close by. Tom Kolb shows you step by step how to tune your guitar, read notes, read tabs, play and progress through chords, and play a progressive schedule of diverse tunes. Excellent purchase, I'm very satisfied with this resource. Now if I just had some groupies to encourage me.......

  • This Set Is All I Needed And Now I'm On My Own

    Just pop in the DVD and get ready to play! this dvd teaches how to play and read TABS and also CHORDS.It also teaches you how to play several songs and read music. Step by step instructions that are nice and slow and easy to pick up. And the best thing about a DVD is that you can rewind and play it back as many times as you want. If you cant afford guitar lessons like myself, buy this set and you're on your way. I highly reccomed this product!

  • Good Material - Not good audio

    I received the package and began to go through the lessons. When I got to the section on the DVD that teaches "Smoke on the Water" the audio was all garbled and skipped a lot. Also on one of the sections that teaches the notes, the audio is not even audible. Overall the product seems to be good material other than the audio problem. I may have a bad copy so I'm taking it back for an exchange.
