  • Not for beginners

    As a beginner trying to play Clapton was certainly aiming high. But I had hoped to be able to view this DVD and get some understanding. Wrong. This DVD is certainly intended for an experienced guitarist who already has a good understanding of chords and techniques. I will have to revisit this DVD in about a year.

  • Excellent teaching DVD

    Not for the beginner. If you are a fan of Clapton's Unplugged album and want to play the music just like he played it, but need a little help figuring out just HOW he does it, this is the DVD for you (and me). The teacher on the disc shows you just how to play the riffs and solos of 8 of the tunes featured on the Unplugged album. I also have the Hal Leonard "As Recorded" book (notation and TAB) to work with along with the DVD. A great combination. This helps to take the intermediate player to the next level.
