Jess Oliver!!!

Jess Oliver is a great guy and is STILL fixing up old Ampeg and re-releasing the back into the wild. This book gives insight into the forces behind the creation of some of the best bass gear on the planet. Details the rise of the B15 to become the core of the "Motown Sound". Shows how Ampeg answered the call when their customers demanded MORE POWER for stadium gigs... enter the SVT. Buy this book if for no other reason that to meet Jess Oliver... if only in print.
