  • fastest and comfortable neck

As reviewed by melo tudor on 11/2/2009

I got this guitar because i have the smallest fingers in the world and I needed a nice thin neck and fast. If that's what are you looking for, you got it right here!! Very comfortable, and plenty of choices from the humbuckers plus single coils selections. The job done on this guitar is by far way better than any brand would offer for this "range" of price. One problem that I have is that being basswood does not have as much sustain as a mahogany body. Plus the pickups are not as crunchy and warm as PAF ones. I suggest to buy a mahogany swede and you can change the pickups and you just got yourself one of the most versatile guitar at a very good price!

  • Ultra Swede Flame

As reviewed by Jim Space on 7/5/2010

This guitar has a brite voice but the tone control will allow you to bring the treble down to a warmer range. The fit and finish is fine and it would be a looker in any color. It takes a little time to adjust to the pearlized binding but it grows on you. The guitar was setup like I expected on a guitar in this price range. the intonation was a little off on E A and G strings and they set the bridge really low causing buzz and the higher notes fretted out when bending the string. With a good setup and possibly a fret job this guitar would play very sweet. The neck is as thin as advertised and is comfortable but mine has frets that need a little clean up. For the price, this guitar is a good investment. I found nothing in this guitar that couldn't be fixed with minimal added expense.

  • Beautiful Guitar

As reviewed by Matty Len on 8/12/2010

This guitar's appearance is stunning, and that's really the only thing it has going for it. After having it professionally setup and making some adjustments by myself, this guitar still does not intonate properly and it is impossible to get the action to a comfortable level without getting fret buzz across nearly the enitrety of the D string. I would take it back, however due to it's fine craftsmanship a screw fell out while intonating and I cannot find it so the store will not accept it. I'm hoping that putting a nicer pair opf strings will help these problems but I'm skeptical. The electronics of the guitar met my expectations, I can turn my amp up to full volume with hardly any buzz. It is also worth noting that my $200 dollar starter kit guitar from best buy is easier to play and intonates properly. I would not recomend this guitar to anyone
