  The case is very nice, particualrly for the cost. It is fitting for the superior quality of the Hagstrom Viking, a great guitar. I highly recommend. larry

• This case would get a 5 if i didn't have to wait 6months

  After purchasing my hagstrom viking deluxe i thought it would be right to by the exact case for it to insure it of not getting damaged on the road. Well to make matters short i bought the case in june eairler this year(2010) and just recieved it today DECEMBER 29th (2010) I pretty much got a birthday present on Christmas but i have to say this case is worth the wait. It has a very sturdy leather handle and a great apperance. It fits the guitar snuggly and the inside is black. All around this case is awesome except for the compartment inside. The flab you open and close doesn't close very well and falls right through into the compartment at times but overall this is a great case and it's worth the wait.

  The Hagstrom hardshell case offers full protection to my beautiful Hagstrom semi-hollow body guitar. I beoieve it is wood based and has a tweed cloth covering. It's extremely well made, with latches all the way around, even on the hinged side. Well worth the investment for the peace of mind.
