The Cadillac of tremolos!
Housed in a rugged yet portable steel chassis, the VT-X is built for a lifetime of use. A single, shockmounted 12AX7WA draws from an included external 12V DC power adapter, eliminating hum and grounding problems. Silent switching also makes it ideal for studio or live use. Where it shines is in its tone — warm, thick, throbbing tremolo that solid-state circuits just can't match.
Guyatone VT-X Tube Tremolo Features:
- Controls: speed/intensity/tone
- Switches: slow-fast/normal-emphasis/effect on-off
- Dual outputs for true stereo panning effects (requires two amps)
With our 30/30 Guarantee on most products, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

NEW REVIEW - This thing sounds AWESOME!!!!
I've been looking for a really good tremolo pedal for a long time. I've been using my old dunlop tremolo, which I loved, for years. Well, someone borrowed it and never gave it back. They don't make it anymore (mxr makes a replica of it). You know the old saying, "when one door closes, another one opens"? Well, I decided to see who else makes a good tremolo pedal. I decided that a lot of them are WAY overpriced and overrated. I tried them ALL and narrowed it down to the demeter tremolo and this one. This one was less expensive and sounded just as good, in my opinion. So, after having owened it for about 6 months, this has become my favorite pedal over all. I used to use so many pedals. Now, I just play with this pedal, a big muff and a univibe. What can I say? Go check it out and you'll see what I mean.

The best tremolo pedal I've ever played!
This is the best tremolo pedal I've ever played, hands down. I've tried voodoo lab, boss, diaz, dunlop and this one blows them all away. It's very VERY versatile, going from vintage to beyond modern. It sounds very warm too, like an old fender amp. The slow-fast, normal-emphasis switches make ALL the difference in the world and are what truly set this pedal apart from the others; that and the 12ax7 tube that adds warmth to your tone. Tremolo is a major part of my sound and this pedal makes my sound complete.
