Overview

Like its six string sibling, the F-50, the F-412 twelve string model features a jumbo body and the trademark Guild arched back design that allows it to produce extraordinary volume. Its characteristic articulation, clarity and balance come courtesy of its tight grain Sitka spruce top and figured North American maple back and sides. Its smooth playability, exceptional build quality, and premium specifications have made it one of the most sought after twelve string guitars in the world.

I have had this guitar (in the blonde style) for a number of years - best guitar I have ever owned, and I've been playing 12-strings for about 40 years. Rich, full sound, stays in tune, quality build - can't say enough about this incredible instrument!

I had to have one of these ever since I saw my high school music teacher play this Guild model 41 years ago and I am not disappointed. I've had other 12's before, but none like this. This is what all 12 strings want to be when they grow up! I took it out of its case as soon as I got it, did a quick tune up and it was angelic...and that's with it being not quite 100% in tune. When I got it home and used my tuner and really got it in tune, it was one of the most beautiful sounds I've heard. The sustain is incredible, even using bar chords. The volume is incredible as the back vibrates against my chest. I've tuned it down to D and action is so light that a full bar F (difficult chord for me) at the first fret is easy and full. Haven't capoed it yet. A well built guitar!
