Five watts. Two tubes. Two inputs. Too cool! Designed by guitarists, the low-output, easy-to-record Electromatic G5222 guitar amp is ideal for small-room jam sessions and recording projects. Crank the amp's volume and adjust the guitar's controls for a variety of sounds. Not only does it spank, sparkle and growl, but the visual factor is undeniably Gretsch.

This is a great amp. Since its the exact same amp as the Fender Champ 600, you know it will sound great. This one has a more durable cabinet than the Champ and looks really retro! Not great for humbucking guitars, but really sparkles with single coils guitars like strats and tele's.
This amp has an excellent clean sound, very full, sweet, and musical. The two inputs are basically the same thing, one is just louder than the other. Please do not confuse the inputs as clean and distorted, because they are not. In fact, the amp has no built in distortion at all. It does have a light, warm break-up and sounds great, but it won't give you an overdrive or distorted sound, not that it's a bad thing, just letting you know.
I bought this amp just before Xmas and I had been looking and researching it for about a year. I finally played it and I found it to be a very nice sound that I had been looking for. Not real loud but fine for practice and playing solo for small intimate gatherings its great for blues slide work. I think it is worth the money and it is really a cool looking amp with a real retro vibe. I recomend it.
