Overview

Gretsch is famous for guitars and drums, but were also known as one of the best manufacturers of ukuleles. The Gretsch G9100 Soprano Standard Ukulele marks the return of ukuleles to the Gretsch family. It features a laminated mahogany, soprano-sized body and 2-piece mahogany neck for excellent tone. The soprano is the smallest and was the original size Ukulele. The easy-to-play rosewood fingerboard has 16 frets with dot inlays and Grover tuning pegs to keep notes in tune. The G9100 comes complete with a padded gig bag.

Gretsch is proud to take players on a musical journey through nearly a century of great Gretsch history by introducing its Roots Collection of acoustic instruments. This exciting family of banjos, mandolins, resonator guitars, ukuleles and Rancher acoustic guitars feature classically authentic Gretsch designs that transport players to a bygone era well before the company made its acclaimed 1950s entry into the electric guitar world.

Great sound, grest price!

By FEDERICO FRANCUCCI

Comments about Gretsch Guitars Root Series G9100 Soprano Standard Ukulele:

Not too much to say, I knew Gretsch was a reliable brand and it was! I've tried other cheaper ukeleles and this one has a really nice wood and a very good finishing. The frets are really good and it has a really nice sound and volume. It tends to stay on tune so you dont need to tune it very often. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a good instrument for a reasonable price. It also comes with a very nice bag!

My favorite Uke

By ADAM HOOK

from Cedar Rapids, IA

Comments about Gretsch Guitars Root Series G9100 Soprano Standard Ukulele:

This Gretsch soprano model has everything that I need that cant be found in other ukes. The fret spacing is excellent for a soprano, and the rich high tones are easy to keep once the strings are used to the tension. The finish is beautiful and durable as well as the bag that comes along with it. I play along with friends that have tenor ukes and this is a great instrument for soloing or adding that perfect harmony. At the price it's just a solid deal.
