This is the most incredible guitar I have played too date. Have played professionally over 40 years. The attack on the guitar is amazing. Extremely playable. Its voice will make you cry. The quality is humbling. This is truly a finger pickers guitar. Chet would have been happy to have this in his arsenal. Wonderfull.

The Best Guitar I've Ever Played!

Comments about Gretsch Guitars G6119 Tennessee Rose Electric Guitar:

I had 3 different guitars and I sold them all and then purchased this one. I am so happy I did! This is the best guitar I've ever used and I love it more each time I play it!!! Action, finish, electronics, fretboard are all great and ready to go right out of the box. Tremelo bar is a nice added feature although I don't use it too much. Get one, you won't be dissapointed!

Best money I ever spent!

Comments about Gretsch Guitars G6119 Tennessee Rose Electric Guitar:

While I may not be a "practicing musician", I certainly know what feels right and is easy to play. After test driving several other guitars of similar style by different manufacturers, including the revered Gibson 335 and 175, the decision was easy. The fit and finish, in my opinion, are as good as it gets. The playability is silky smooth; effortless compared to others in my opinion. While I am no expert on electronics or the subtleties of the sound produced by various makes and models, I have no doubt the "Rose" will serve me well for years to comes. And for what it's worth, my instructor who is a very accomplished/recorded musician, says I would have been hard pressed to do better, especially for the price paid.

That Great Gretsch Sound

By Tadester

Comments about Gretsch Guitars G6119 Tennessee Rose Electric Guitar:

I've dreamed about getting a Gretsch for years, and when the time finally came when I had the money, I knew I was going to get something top of the line. I saw this at the local guitar shop who also carried a couple other Gretsch's, like an electromatic - which I had considered since it played very well and was inexpensive, and I think they also had an anniversary one there too but I don't remember the model. But based on what I was looking for the Tennessee Rose had it all - it had that great hollowbody sound and I am still in love with the bigsby tremolo. It takes little to no effort to play and is one of the best constructed instruments I've ever laid my hands on. This guitar is definitely everything I thought a Gretsch would be. It's totally worth every penny.
