Comments about Gretsch Guitars G5434T-LTD Electromatic Pro Jet Limited Edition Electric Guitar:

This thing can GO - its got a big phat sound that's reminiscent of and rooted in Classic Rock. Ran it with some light overdrive through a Tonemaster, a Hot Rod Deville, and an Orange tube amp and this thing SCREAMS! I've always been a big fan of the sound and style of the Gretsch Electromatic's, but never pulled the trigger because I felt that some of the hardware was on the cheaper side. This is not the case with this limited edition white version - the hardware is top notch, feels solid, and includes small details like little "G" engravings that add some class. It seems lighter than a Les Paul, but feels solid in my hands.

Obviously its a looker, but it also sounds great. There are tons of really solid guitars in this price range, but for my taste, this limited Gretsch stole the show by leaps and bounds. I'd say its definitely worth checking out if you're in the market for a new axe! The only thing that's bad is that I'm constantly checking for scuffs on the white finish :P

Bought this beauty for my daughter, her first electric. She's 16 and loved it and I enjoy playing it as well, when she gives me permission. Super fun to play and nice contrast to my early '90s LP Classic Premium Plus. Might have to buy one for myself. super guitar for the money.
