5422TDCG

Comments about Gretsch Guitars G5422TDCG Electromatic Hollowbody Guitar:

I've only had the guitar for a couple of weeks but I really like it. Very stylish looking. Plays nicely and sounds good. I like the fact that I can get some feedback if I try hard enough for it. I don't know if you can with the brand new model with the full center block. Again, VERY pretty guitar! I REALLY like it...but it should come with a case. I think all 'real' guitars (non toy or bottom of the line entry level guitars) should come with a case. I mean, how would you bring it anywhere?

Comments about Gretsch Guitars G5422TDCG Electromatic Hollowbody Guitar:

I also own a G6119-1962HT. This guitar cost me half the money and I can honestly say that the construction, finish and playability are excellent. I am completely surprised at the level of quality at this price point and am very very please with this purchase.

Gretsch G5422TDCG

Comments about Gretsch Guitars G5422TDCG Electromatic Hollowbody Guitar:

I was looking at an Orange 5422 but came across the G5422 in white , ordered online ,even got a discount here at Guitar Center, the guitar is just beautiful , finish is excellent , sound is great , originally thought if I bought one I would replace the pups with TV Jones , but may not now , sound is fantastic , guitar came with a good setup , plays great , workman ship is very good , I would rate it up there with my USA Strat, 1965 Casino ,Ric4001 , Hofner G5000, wanted a White Falcon but this is a steal at a third of the price .Having my share of guitars over the years ,been playing over 40, I think If your looking at a Gretsch this is a very good choice.
