Comments about Gretsch Guitars FSR Two-Tone Electromatic Pro Jet with Bigsby Electric Guitar:

I've always wanted a Gretsch Jet, and the Electromatic line has the right price. I'm a sucker for red guitars, and this one really caught my eye with the gold accents and white back and sides. Sounds nice and fat like it should. I'm not a fan of the "Made in China" on the back of the head, but geez, build quality is faultless! I'll be having it set up - I think the action could be improved. But, right out of the box it plays great!

Comments about Gretsch Guitars FSR Two-Tone Electromatic Pro Jet with Bigsby Electric Guitar:

I went to guitarcenter to buy a distortion pedal. When I was about to try the pedal an employee ask me to choose a guitar. Never been a Gretch fan, but when I saw this guitar I told him ill use this one because I liked the style. Bu t when I played it I fell in love with it. One week later I returned for this baby! Amazing sound. would recommend it to anyone who is an experience guitar player or a beginner.

Comments about Gretsch Guitars FSR Two-Tone Electromatic Pro Jet with Bigsby Electric Guitar:

I have seven guitars. My favorite LP Robot is now taking a second choice to play. This Pro Jet is now getting majority of playing time. I have 2 other Gretsches and two LPs and a Mex Tele and a Am dlx Strat HSS. This is a beautiful guitar too! You can't go wrong!

Service and delivery comments:

I had it shipped to my local GC to inspect it and play it before I took ownership. I was able to apply a 15% discount before I left with it. Discount was not supposed to apply to Gretsch but I could have left without it. I guess they knew and decided to accept the coupon !

Comments about Gretsch Guitars FSR Two-Tone Electromatic Pro Jet with Bigsby Electric Guitar:

This Pro Jet sounds every bit as good as my go to LP. Looks to kill and light. The tone I get from the pickup switched to Bridge sounds better than any of my other 6 guitars . May have a new go to ! I haven't even put on my favorite strings yet ! I am a recreation player but this would be a great gigging guitar .

      A Stunning Gretsch!

      By Pastor Bob

      from Clarksville, TN

Comments about Gretsch Guitars FSR Two-Tone Electromatic Pro Jet with Bigsby Electric Guitar:

I am thrilled by this new Pro Jet. I have been wanting one since I first got one in my hands, and this one does not disappoint. It catches the eye, as it should, with the red and white combination and gold hardware, and the neck feels great in my fretting hand - not too thin, not too fat. It's just right. The fit and finish on my guitar was absolutely flawless, with a bound body, neck, and headstock, with the bound headstock being a nice little upgrade from the base Pro Jet. The setup was great for me right out of the box, and the Black Top Filter'Trons offer a nice versatility for the overall sound of this guitar - kind of a nice cross between the Gretsch Filtertron sound, and the classic humbucker sound, although weighted toward the Gretsch sound.

Note that when comparing this Electromatic Pro Jet to a pro line Duo Jet, there will be difference, however this is a great guitar for the price, and for many this FRS Pro Jet will do very nicely. It will give get bang for the buck, and it will provide many hours of Gretschy fun. Among other guitars, I also have a Gretsch 5420 hollowbody, a Gretsch Tennessee Rose, and this FSR Pro Jet is equally as much fun to play as my other two Gretsch guitars.

Comments about Gretsch Guitars FSR Two-Tone Electromatic Pro Jet with Bigsby Electric Guitar:

Always played fender strats but always admired the sound of gretsch guitars when i hear them. Several months before Christmas, I was playing around different hollow body Gretsch's when i saw this FSR ProJet on the wall. Immediately played it and fell in love. Guitar Center had just put it out that day... didnt last a day on the wall. I did a little set up when I got it, but that's normal.

Comments about Gretsch Guitars FSR Two-Tone Electromatic Pro Jet with Bigsby Electric Guitar:

Looks very cool. Very disappointed when playing it. Owned it for two days. If you have played a Power or Duo Jet you won't like it. Build is ok at best. Tone is very poor compared to the other two as well. By the time you mod it, you could buy a good used one. This Electomatic missed unlike some of the others.
