Gretsch® Instrument Limited Lifetime Warranty
FMIC warrants your Gretsch brand instrument to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as it is owned by the original retail purchaser, except that pickups, switches, jacks, controls, all other electronic components, tuning machines, hardware, pickguards, plated surfaces, gig bags, cases and case hardware are warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. This warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser when this instrument is purchased from an Authorized Gretsch Dealer and is subject to the limitations set forth herein. IMPORTANT: PLEASE RETAIN YOUR ORIGINAL SALES RECEIPT, AS IT IS YOUR PROOF OF PURCHASE VALIDATING THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
FMIC has established a network of independent Authorized Service Centers for warranty service. The Gretsch Dealer from whom you purchased your instrument may also be authorized for warranty service and should be the first point of contact when service of any kind is required for your Gretsch instrument. To receive warranty service, return the complete instrument to an Authorized Service Center, with your sales receipt as proof of purchase, during the applicable warranty period. Defective components that qualify for coverage under this warranty will be repaired or replaced (at FMIC's discretion) without charge. Remedies beyond normal service repair of any Gretsch instrument require both an evaluation and confirmation of the defect and a direct recommendation to FMIC from an Authorized Service Center for alternative considerations.
All transportation, insurance and freight charges associated with warranty service and repairs on Gretsch instruments are the responsibility of the purchaser, as is any service initiated for the purpose of customizing setups or adjustments beyond factory specifications. Initial standard setup and adjustment of the instrument and its components at the time of purchase are considered normal Dealer product preparation, and are not covered by this warranty.

Okay ... how to put this. I LOVE the thick, creamy sound of a Les Paul with humbuckers. I LOVE the snap and quack of a Telecaster with single coils. I LOVE the grit and growl of a Casino with P90's. They are all great, iconic sounds, BUT ...
The Gretsch White Falcon with High Sensitive Filtertrons is, simply put, the sound I hear in my head when I think of a guitar! It is a sound so specific ... full, rich, shimmery and transperant. Even other Gretsch's have a hard time reproducing these heavenly tones.
The looks, fit and finish of the instrument speak for themselves. If you are the shy sort, you might want to give this guitar some thought. You ARE going to get looked at playing a White Falcon. It simply commands attention on stage! It is a glorious, showy, sparkly, blingy statement of, "I am here to ROCK ... and you WILL listen!"
Additionally, take a guitar that is 17" across, make it 2.75 inches thick AND build it in a 25.5 scale, and you have yourself one big BOAT of an axe! Even if you are an experienced semi and hollow-body player, wrapping your arms around a Falcon for the first time is an experience!
I simply love this guitar ... it feels and sounds like HOME!
It makes sense that this is one of Gretsch iconic and historically significant flagship guitars. This is the cleanest, sweetest, smoothest guitar I have ever even held much less owned. It instantly elevated my playing due to its ease and comfortable feel. The craftsmanship is noticeable and The action is perfect. The gold hardware is beautiful. This is the only guitar in my collection that is not all black, or flat black, and it fits. Its sound and its ease of play just makes sense. I received this as a gift from my father when he came into town and was surprised at my skill level. Being a lifelong musician / guitarist he wanted me to have something that I could have forever like his father did for him way back with a Fender Strat. So this guitar has as much sentimental value to me as it does anything else. Probably not much of a helpful review for most but its what it is.
I have a collection of 112 guitars - different types, sounds, brand names, looks, etc. I bought my White Falcon on a recommendation from a friend and fell in love with it's glide-easy, super-fast neck and fretboard, the tone quality, the look, the design, the Grigsby hardware, etc. It is a bit heavy, physically, but it is one of my 2 favorites in my entire collection. But this guitar!
