Gretsch® Instrument Limited Lifetime Warranty
FMIC warrants your Gretsch brand instrument to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as it is owned by the original retail purchaser, except that pickups, switches, jacks, controls, all other electronic components, tuning machines, hardware, pickguards, plated surfaces, gig bags, cases and case hardware are warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. This warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser when this instrument is purchased from an Authorized Gretsch Dealer and is subject to the limitations set forth herein. IMPORTANT: PLEASE RETAIN YOUR ORIGINAL SALES RECEIPT, AS IT IS YOUR PROOF OF PURCHASE VALIDATING THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
FMIC has established a network of independent Authorized Service Centers for warranty service. The Gretsch Dealer from whom you purchased your instrument may also be authorized for warranty service and should be the first point of contact when service of any kind is required for your Gretsch instrument. To receive warranty service, return the complete instrument to an Authorized Service Center, with your sales receipt as proof of purchase, during the applicable warranty period. Defective components that qualify for coverage under this warranty will be repaired or replaced (at FMIC's discretion) without charge. Remedies beyond normal service repair of any Gretsch instrument require both an evaluation and confirmation of the defect and a direct recommendation to FMIC from an Authorized Service Center for alternative considerations.
All transportation, insurance and freight charges associated with warranty service and repairs on Gretsch instruments are the responsibility of the purchaser, as is any service initiated for the purpose of customizing setups or adjustments beyond factory specifications. Initial standard setup and adjustment of the instrument and its components at the time of purchase are considered normal Dealer product preparation, and are not covered by this warranty.

I bought this guitar about a year ago and keep enjoying it more and more as I get better. It always plays great. I bought it in the dry desert west and now live in the humid south. In both humidity extremes it plays perfectly.
It feels great. I think it is just the right size. I love the feel of the neck. The weight is not bad. I think its really a goldylocks guitar in that its just right. I also think it looks awesome. I don't think I will ever get tired of how impressive this guitar looks.
Now the important part, the sound. This guitar sounds amazing!!! I am surprised how versatile the guitar is and how many sounds I can get out of it. I am also amazed at how much feel is delivered while playing. The pickups are wonderful and can provide some bite when needed. I play blues, rock (mostly old stuff), some jazz and everything in between. It has a distinctive sound that I love. If I could only own one guitar, this would be it.
Overall this is the best guitar I have played and one I plan on keeping for the rest of my life.
I have two complaints. First, I love the ebony fretboard and can't understand why the bridge saddle is rosewood? Second, I am not a big fan of the adjustomatic bridge (on this or any guitar). I plan on doing a fairly inexpensive upgrade replacing these two items.
Great guitar, I love how it plays, how it sounds, how it looks and how it feels. I would strongly recommend this guitar.
I purchased mine two months ago and find it to be a nice balance bewtween a gibson and fender. I like this model for its appearance and the TV Jones pickups which give it great versatility. Build is on par with the best - nice action, great neck and love the bigsby. I acutally like this bigsby setup as its not the drastic tension bar approach as on the B7 bigsby. In my view the simple over the bar string wrap gives it a more delicate vibrato feel.
I would give it 5 stars - but, its a chambered body and I wish it were solid to increase the sustain. But, it does save one's back and it sings nicely. Its a very verstile guitar and great in the studio.
This guitar does it all! Jazz, rockabilly, punk, rock'n'roll, you name it. The filtertron pickups deliver a unique tone apart for all the others. Solid weight leads to great sustain. The fit and finish are amazing, especially the stained wood grain on the sides and back. I was unsure about shelling out so much for a guitar, but this one is worht every penny and then some. I wouldn't give it up for anything. Before you get a Les Paul check this one out because you will be coverted to gretsch.
