  • Most versatile, best sounding all around guitar

As reviewed by Ron Sartore on 9/25/2012

I have had this guitar for over a year and a half and it has become my favorite. My other guitars are a Gibson Les Paul Studio, an Ibanez GB10, Fender American Standard Stratocaster and a PRS SE Singlecut. This guitar has the widest range of sound you can get from one instrument. From very bright highs to warm mellow tones. The Bigsby tailpiece is fantastic and it stays in tune for weeks (I may put it in its case for several weeks - surprised to have it in near perfect tune when removed later) I had the action lowered a bit and went to slightly lighter strings than what it came with - but it was good right out of the box. This is the one guitar I would own if I could have only one. Great sound for 60s surf, rock, jazz and blues. I can't believe the tone and sound variance you can get from this. Unlike anything I own. At first the orange color wasn't what I was looking for. But this is a fantastic looking guitar and my opinion has changed (I bought it cased on the sound while at the store) - the magenta lined case is very good (well built and great fit) but an interesting color clash though. Kinda like it!
