Unsafe at any speed!

Buckle up boys and girls, because this Corvette will take you on a ride to the wild side of Gretsch. Mega'Tron pickups howl at the wind, and the ultra slim design means you can take this baby on the go! Made in response to the numerous players who have requested a contemporary version of this short-lived model from the 1960s, the G5135 Corvette guitar combines modern features with retro styling into one instrument that is truly built for speed.

The ultra slim, solid mahogany body is lightweight and easy to shoulder, without sacrificing the unique, biting tonal properties for which mahogany is known. Additional features include a set mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and 22 frets, adjustable truss rod, an anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge and Bigsby B50 Tailpiece, dot position markers, pearloid headstock inlays, black pickguard, chrome plated hardware, vintage style tuners and G-Arrow knobs.

Gretsch Guitars G5135 Electromatic Corvette Electric Guitar Features:

  • Solid mahogany body
  • Mahogany neck (24.6" scale)
  • Rosewood fingerboard
  • 21 medium jumbo frets
  • Bone nut (1-11/16" wide)

Great little slim guitar!!!

This is a terrific guitar for the price. It's got a very slim body that feels like an SG, and light as a feather, even though it's solid mohagany. The neck plays comfortably and frets are wide enough for my over-sized fingers. The humbucker pickups are awesome: very active, clear and punchy. The Bigbsy vibrato works like a charm. I've had no problems with the strings going out of tune. This is a great little guitar. Very versatile and just a lot of fun to play. It's got a shape and vibe like no other guitar out there, and definitely attracts attention. Get one. You won't regret it!

Unbelievable

I used to use an Epiphone Les Paul but it was so heavy. I had dropped it at least 6 times. This guitar is alot more comfortable and light as a feather but still has a great sound to it. This is without a doubt my best guitar purchase ever.

Can't be beat for the price

This thing sounds amazing, the action is perfect and it plays so easily..I played an original Corvette back in the 70's and this one plays just as well plus it sounds even better...You won't regret getting one of these for your collection no matter what your price range...It looks like a much more expensive guitar.
