Vintage look, vintage Gretsch sound, and a sweet price!

This single cutaway, semi-hollowbody guitar recalls the glory days of the early '60s when Gretsch guitars set the standard for rock, rockabilly, and country guitar. It has an arched maple top, mahogany back, set mahogany neck, and a rosewood fretboard. The pickups are Gretsch mini dual-coils with volume, tone, and 3-way selector. It also features an Adjusto-Matic bridge with G-cutout tailpiece, chromeplated hardware, and a gloss urethane finish. Very cool.

great guitar

this is my second gretsch, and i love this guitar. you need to put new strings on it, and i put a bigsby B3 tremlo on it. its my poor mans duo jet at 1/5th the price... the pickups growl like a devil out of the darkness... and the features are simple, and simple is always more in my book... its just a great guitar at a great price!!!!

A nice step up from beginner

I purchased the Gretsch Pro Jet after having a squier as my first guitar and needing something a little more advanced. This guitar proforms extremely well for the price, and deffinitly can keep up with some of my friends more expensive guitars such as the Gibson SG. The styling is slightly too conservative for my taste, and looks slightly out of place sometimes, but other than that minor complaint I love it. The pickups on this guitar produce a great growl on my Fender amp and the body has held up considerably well under stress. Overall, I would recomend this guitar to anyone looking for the next step.
