I've used this lap steel guitar on a couple of occasions. To start out with, this thing is visually stunning. As you can see by the pictures, Gretsch didn't skimp out of the looks even though it's one of the cheaper instruments they sell. Don't let that fool you though, this is reliable and it's tone sounds great. The single coil pickup sounds very good. Overall, I'd reccomend this for somebody would wanted to learn to play lap steel and even to someone who was more advanced.
